Privacy policy

Plain language, no burying. Last updated: July 2026.

What we collect

Account data: your email, a hashed password (we never store or see the real one), and optionally your name. Project data: the prompts you write, the code Kashvi generates, and the data your apps store. Usage data: credits spent, build outcomes and basic technical logs that help us fix failures.

How we use it

To run the product: build your apps, store their data, keep you signed in, meter credits, and email you account messages (verification, password reset). We also use aggregate, de-identified telemetry (like build error rates) to make the platform more reliable. We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising.

AI processing

Your prompts and relevant project code are sent to Anthropic's Claude models via the commercial API to generate your apps. Anthropic does not train models on API data by default. Your content is used to build YOUR software, nothing else.

Third-party services

We rely on a small set of processors: Anthropic (AI generation), our hosting infrastructure (servers and managed PostgreSQL), Resend (transactional email), and — only if you connect one — your own Supabase project, which is governed by your agreement with Supabase. Google sign-in, if you use it, involves Google verifying your identity.

Your app users

Apps you build may collect data from their own users. That data is stored per-user and belongs to you and your users — you are responsible for how your apps use it, and for providing your own privacy notices where required.

Retention & deletion

Your projects stay until you delete them (trash first, then permanent). Deleting your account (Settings → danger zone) permanently removes your account, projects and their data. Backups age out on a rolling basis.

Your rights

You can access and export your code any time (that's a feature, not just a right), correct your account details in Settings, and request deletion or a copy of your data by emailing hello@kashvi.dev. We respond to every request.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll note it here with a new date and, for significant changes, notify you by email.
